About the role

As an Application Support Specialist at YONDU INC.', you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our critical business applications. Reporting to the IT Manager, this full-time position is located in our Bonifacio Global City office in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and troubleshooting to our end-users, while also collaborating closely with our development team to optimise application functionality and address any issues that arise.

What you'll be doing

  • Fielding incoming support requests from end-users and quickly diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Monitoring the health and performance of our business applications, and proactively addressing any problems.
  • Documenting and communicating resolution steps, and providing end-user training as needed.
  • Collaborating with the development team to implement application enhancements and fixes.
  • Maintaining detailed records and reporting on application usage, performance, and support activities.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest application technologies, trends, and best practices.

What we're looking for

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar application support or IT support role.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with a variety of business applications and software tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to quickly assess and resolve complex issues.
  • Education – College graduate in Information Technology preferred or an equivalent of education plus experience / Computer Engineering / Computer Programming with specific application / Computer Software Engineering / Computer Software Technology
  • Application Support - backend operation support handle ticket client report ticket and service ticket.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
  • A relevant university degree or technical certification in information technology or a related field.
