Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to establish and maintain a robust Operational Risk Management framework, ensuring seamless integration with existing risk management functions.

  • This involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks associated with the Firm's clients, thereby safeguarding their interests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk assessment techniques and tools to analyze day-to-day operations of clients.
  • Collaborate with other risk management functions to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
  • Design and implement policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate operational risks.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of operational risk controls, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the team, setting performance objectives, coaching, training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, with a focus on internal controls, risk monitoring, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in Operational Risk Management.
  • Proficient in risk assessment techniques, risk mapping, scenario analysis, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and people management skills.
  • Certifications in Operational Risk Management or other relevant certificates are an advantage.
