The Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Developing and implementing underwriting guidelines and processes.
  2. Collaborating with the distribution channel to grow the business.
  3. Providing leadership, support, and guidance to the underwriting team.
  4. Managing the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably with a medical background.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in life insurance underwriting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial/supervisory capacity.
  • FLMI Designation.
  • Passed at least one ALU exam.
