Job Overview

Seeking a skilled professional to handle VAT-related tasks, including return submissions and registration processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns for clients in accordance with UAE regulations.
  • Assist with VAT registration and deregistration procedures, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for client VAT accounts, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to prepare and review VAT refund and penalty reconsideration applications.
  • Review client documentation to ensure adherence to UAE VAT laws and regulations.
  • Provide support to clients by responding to queries under senior tax staff guidance.
  • Stay informed about the latest VAT rules and practices in the UAE, applying this knowledge to improve client services.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data security standards are upheld at all times.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather financial data for client analysis.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance VAT knowledge and stay updated on industry developments.

Requirements
  • Hold a part-qualified or working towards a professional certification such as ACCA or CPA.
  • possess 1-2 years of experience in UAE VAT or tax-related roles.
  • exhibit good knowledge of Tax, Financial Accounting and Compliance matters.
  • have experience in financial advisory and other related financial services and products.
  • display strong organizational and time management skills.
