Our team develops custom scripts and applications to process geospatial data, automate transformation tasks, and manage data pipelines into databases.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and rapidly deliver impactful tools and solutions.

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and scripts using Python to support operations workflows.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for spatial data into relational databases like PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • Audit and improve data transformation and processing pipelines to boost efficiency and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with operations and product teams to identify opportunities for tool development and automation.
  • Troubleshoot and support internal tools and workflows in production and development environments.

Evaluate code quality through version control, testing, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation.

Foster best practices in software engineering and continuously seek ways to improve development processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of geospatial tools like QGIS, PyQGIS, or GIS libraries such as GDAL/OGR, Shapely, or GeoPandas.

Prior experience in scripting and automating data processing tasks is essential.

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with a preference for PostgreSQL and PostGIS, is required.
