Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to support the Department of Defense at USAREUR-AF. This role will involve developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, analyzing forecasts, and coordinating with functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, resource leveling, and risk management.

About the Role
  • Develops and maintains integrated master schedules for the organization.
  • Analyzes forecasts of customer needs, capacity, and resources to ensure deadlines are met and costs are controlled.
  • Coordinates with functional teams to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule.
  • Monitors and reports on scheduled events, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing demands and capacity constraints.
  • Prepares operations and procedures manuals to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develops project schedules and budgets, monitors tasks, and analyzes performance to meet contractual and project requirements.
  • Interacts with customers and industry representatives to ensure requirements are met.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to subordinate staff.
Requirements
  • US Citizen with active DoD Secret Security Clearance, with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, operations management, or related field.
  • 9+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years of specific experience with scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, resource leveling, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate schedule-impacting risks.
  • Certification such as CAPM, CST, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of United States Army Europe & Africa operations.
