Job Overview

The Test Engineer plays a pivotal role in planning, designing, and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, scripts, and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases, tracking results, and logging defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing strategic approaches for both automated and manual testing, including creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Designing scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks that meet the organization's quality standards.
  • Implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
  • Contributing to the development of product roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery of testing deliverables.
  • Working collaboratively with business users, business analysts, and engineers to identify and resolve assigned defects.
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends and best practices in testing to drive process improvements and asset enhancements.
  • Coaching and training other team members on manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Participating in squad events and contributing to the improvement of processes and assets.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and methodologies.
