Credentialing Coordinator Job Summary

This role empowers you to support the credentialing and re-credentialing process for healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.

About the Role
  • Comprehensive Credentialing Support: Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process for healthcare providers.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Privileging and Onboarding Assistance: Assist with the provider privileging process by preparing necessary documentation and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding.
  • Reporting and Process Contribution: Support the generation of credentialing reports, proactively identify and help resolve credentialing issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.
Requirements
  • Administrative Experience: 1-3 years of relevant administrative experience in a healthcare setting or regulated environment.
  • Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to collective success, and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and methodical approach to managing documentation and data.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
