Job Overview

As an organization, we are seeking a skilled EDI Developer to support and optimize our existing workflow.

This role involves contributing to the migration away from Orderful, providing long-term continuity, and ensuring seamless integration of data management processes.

About You
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL is required, along with deep experience in 834/X12 transactions.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management and integration processes is essential.
  • Solid proficiency in Python programming and knowledge of JSON data formats are necessary.
  • Experience with 834/X12 writing and practical knowledge of EDI standards is vital.
  • Familiarity with SFTP processes for secure data transfer is also required.
  • Integration proficiency – ability to troubleshoot and optimize end-to-end workflows.
  • Technical writing skills and high attention to detail for documentation and process clarity are necessary.
  • SQL experience, with BigQuery highly preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • EDI & Data Transformation – Assist in removing Orderful from existing processes, transforming data from JSON to X12 in BigQuery, and improving overall efficiency.
  • Process Optimization – Review SQL scripts and documentation in BigQuery to ensure best practices for file generation.

This position requires a Mid-Senior level professional with full-time employment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
