Power BI Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, excellent data-wrangling skills, and a passion for developing high-quality, user-friendly visualizations.

This role requires designing, building, and optimizing data visualization tools that empower public-sector and non-profit leaders to make smarter, data-driven decisions. You will work with complex and varied datasets, build relationships across disparate files, and develop clean, reliable data models that are ready for analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and adapt visualization tools that bring together various data sources.
  • Develop compelling dashboards and visual stories that clearly communicate trends, insights, and key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a role focused on data analysis including SQL/relational databases.
  • Experience working with data sets in various conditions/formats and which require building relationships across disparate files to create a comprehensive data model.
  • Skilled in cleaning, standardizing, filtering, and transforming data to create datasets ready to be analyzed and displayed graphically.
  • Understands what makes for a compelling visualization, can 'tell a story' using data, and can draw insights from large datasets.
