Key Role: Data Platform Security Specialist

This critical position involves creating and maintaining large-scale data warehouses for top brands worldwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled data platform security specialist to ensure secure and reliable operations of our data platform, including access control, identity integration, and compliance management within Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with security teams, data engineers, and architects to implement and maintain security policies, RBAC roles, auditing practices, and data protection standards.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the secure and reliable operation of the Snowflake data platform.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, RBAC roles, auditing practices, and data protection standards.
  • Collaborate with security teams, data engineers, and architects to integrate user access via Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD.
  • Monitor usage, handle user provisioning, and support regulatory and data governance requirements across the platform.
Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, particularly around security, user management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Proficiency in integrating Snowflake with Active Directory (on-prem or Azure AD) for secure authentication and SSO.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments, including auditing, encryption, and sensitive data handling.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise data platforms, ideally in environments that include SAP or Salesforce as data sources.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and compliance frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
