Job Title: Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled accounting specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations;

  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements;

  • Budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of monthly and quarterly budgets;

  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable;

  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role;

  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
