Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and maintain our mission-critical databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all databases, including setup, configuration, administration, tuning, troubleshooting, data manipulation, and backups.
  • Recommend hardware configurations to optimize database performance and availability.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues using advanced database tools.
  • Participate in the on-call production support rotation and assist with resolving database service outages.
Requirements:
  • University graduate with a degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing multi-terabyte mission-critical databases.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Server platform technologies (Windows, UNIX, Linux) skills.
  • Database technologies (MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle) and tools.
  • Leadership skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
