Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your role will involve qualifying inbound leads, conducting account research, and engaging with enterprise accounts via cold calling, emailing, and social outreach.

Key responsibilities include vetting and qualifying inbound leads from marketing campaigns, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) for timely response to inbound leads, and generating qualified leads processed as Contacts in the CRM system.

Additionally, you will navigate conversations to uncover business needs, understand pains, and position Cofense products and services as a solution. You will also maintain detailed activity logs and notes in the CRM system and communicate summarized findings to the Sales and Marketing teams to refine solution positioning.

Requirements
  • Effective communication with prospects to confirm product value and earn trust.
  • Technical selling skills to communicate with prospects using relevant terminology.
  • Objection handling skills to respond to prospects' objections in real-time.
  • Pipeline hygiene to ensure consistent movement of opportunities to sales teams.
  • Time management to prioritize and balance inbound and outbound activity.
  • Email customization to efficiently tailor emails at a company, role, and personal level.
  • Understanding of qualification frameworks such as BANT/MEDD(P)ICC.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years prior lead generation experience in cyber-security preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of proven field experience.
