Job Title: Property Valuation Specialist

Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting financial modeling, market research, and preparing reports to support investment decisions. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on real estate databases to gather comparable data, analyze the information, discuss findings with external stakeholders (such as brokers) and create detailed analyses explaining your conclusions.
  • Assess real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments, by analyzing market trends and property performance.
  • Create comprehensive financial models to assess property returns and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for leadership and clients.
  • Support due diligence efforts by reviewing leases and financial documents.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Real Estate Analyst role or similar position is essential.
  • A degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real Estate is required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word are necessary; financial modeling experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Familiarity with financial software and internet search skills are desirable.
  • Knowledge of real estate terminology and metrics is essential (e.g., cap rates, NOI, IRR).
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
