Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Toy Design Expert to develop and implement creative, safe, and engaging toy products for kids' meals.

This role requires a deep understanding of child behavior and preferences, as well as strict adherence to toy safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design innovative, age-appropriate toy concepts that align with current themes, trends, and objectives.
  • Develop detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes using design tools such as CAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator.
  • Conduct user research and testing with children or parent focus groups to gather insights.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international toy safety standards such as ASTM, EN71, CPSIA.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and quality.
  • Work with marketing and branding teams to integrate toy designs with promotional campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with trends in toy design, pop culture, and children's entertainment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Toy Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in toy or product design, especially for children.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design process and final products.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Fusion 360.
  • Understanding of child psychology, play behavior, and developmental appropriateness.
  • Knowledge of toy materials, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with toy safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Project details include freelance/project-based work, remote/work-from-home setup, and duration based on project scope (with potential for future projects).
