  • Troubleshoot network problems and outages, implementing fixes and preventive measures.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades on network hardware and software.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network equipment.
  • Analyze and recommend network enhancements, expansions, and optimizations.
  • Provide support for network-related incidents and work with other IT teams to resolve them.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and policies to ensure consistency and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in network administration, engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and networking concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with network security practices, including intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls (preferably Fortinet or Draytek), and access control.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CCNP) are highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
