Lead Technical Architect Role

This position requires a professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to drive architectural decisions, optimize existing systems, and lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in defining and leading technical architecture for AI agent platforms, mentoring and guiding engineering teams, and collaborating with founders and product managers to align architecture with business goals.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, and optimizing scalable front-end and back-end systems, coding and implementing solutions using Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios APIs, and developing automation workflows using N8N and integrating vector stores/databases.

Infrastructure & Deployment

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors, overseeing Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization, and implementing and maintaining secure local and remote deployments, with Cloudflare for instance management.

Additionally, they will contribute to enterprise-grade security discussions as the company scales to larger customers, work across multiple projects balancing optimization of existing systems with rollout of new features, and use Git versioning and project management tools to ensure clean workflows, visibility, and collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration (e.g., N8N, JSON, vector stores, databases).
  • Advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, Axios API.
  • Strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development.
  • Hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.
  • Experience managing remote deployments and instances (Cloudflare preferred).
  • Extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.
  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership in a startup environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Enterprise-grade security architecture experience.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI agent frameworks.
