Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead System Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of our technology platform. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration to drive architectural decisions, optimize existing systems, and lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

This position requires strong infrastructure background, experience with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development, and hands-on knowledge of local networks, system security, and architecture design. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, Axios API, and extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.

The successful candidate will be able to balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership in a startup environment and contribute to enterprise-grade security discussions as the company scales to larger customers. They will also oversee Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization, and manage and optimize deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the technical architecture for our AI agent platform.

  • Mentor and guide a small team of engineers (initially 2–3, scaling up to 10+).

  • Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering to align architecture with business goals.

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable front-end and back-end systems.

  • Develop automation workflows using N8N and integrate vector stores/databases.

  • Manage and optimize deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors.

  • Oversee Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization.

  • Implement and maintain secure local and remote deployments, with Cloudflare for instance management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration.

  • Advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, Axios API.

  • Strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development.

  • Hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.

  • Experience managing remote deployments and instances.

  • Extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.
