Financial Compliance Officer Role

This position requires an enthusiastic professional to safeguard our financial systems by preventing illegal activities such as money laundering, terrorism financing, and fraud.

The primary goal is to verify customer and business identities, monitor transactions, and work with requests from partner banks. Additionally, it involves reporting Suspicious Activities Reports (SARs) to the Chief Compliance Officer.

To achieve success in this role, one must aim to excel in key performance indicators like processing time and accuracy. Staying up-to-date with global AML/CTF practices, KYC, and KYB processes is crucial.

Required Skills:
  • A quick learner with enthusiasm for acquiring new insights and skills.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Knowledge of global AML/CTF practices.
  • Proficiency in KYC and KYB processes.
  • Experience with transaction monitoring/EDD process.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
  • Solid understanding of financial services and regulatory framework.

Prior experience in FinTech or startup environments is highly beneficial.
