Architecture Awards Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our architecture awards submissions. As a seasoned Architecture Awards Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing award submissions for top-tier national and international programs.

About the Role
  • This is a remote position that offers flexibility and autonomy.
  • The successful candidate will have experience managing award submissions, including identifying eligible projects, preparing submission packages, and collaborating with design teams.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop an annual awards submission calendar based on strategic relevance and deadlines.
  2. Identify eligible projects, awards, and categories across residential and design sectors.
  3. Prepare and manage award submissions, including image curation, text development, project storytelling, and online form completion.
  4. Collaborate with design and marketing teams to gather assets, photography, and plans.
  5. Maintain records of submissions, deadlines, and results.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing architecture and design award submissions.
  • Strong familiarity with award platforms, including AIA, Architizer, Dezeen, Dwell, and others.

  • Ability to distill complex project ideas into clear, engaging language.
  • Comfort working with architects, creatives, and photographers.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Portfolio of successful past submissions or awards won.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with press kits, media relations, or architecture PR.
  • Background in architecture, journalism, or design communications.
