As a key senior executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of our enterprise risk management framework. This involves assessing and designing controls, monitoring and testing, issue management, and governance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the assessment and improvement of existing controls to ensure they are operating effectively.
  • Drive and manage controls enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Assist in the execution of our Enterprise Risk Management Framework and adherence to Risk Management and Compliance Policies.
  • Oversee the MCA program, including attestation, quality oversight, and related reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive corrective action plans for identified control gaps or failures.
  • Participate in issue quality reviews to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Develop standardized risk and controls reporting to ensure sound, reliable, and consistent information exists across the organization.
  • Oversee the operations of Citi's governance committees, including coordinating meetings and managing agendas.
  • Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions and demonstrate sound ethical judgment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
  • Strong knowledge of control development and execution.
  • Proven experience in control-related functions in the financial industry.
  • Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
