Job Overview

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately performing takeoffs and costing for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize software such as Planswift or Bluebeam to perform takeoffs and cost estimates.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings with attention to detail.
  • Identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents.
  • Prepare detailed reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Planswift or Bluebeam is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • A background in architectural and electrical projects is beneficial.
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs is necessary.
  • Excellent written English skills are a must.
