Director of Business Innovation

This role leads the development and implementation of medium to long-term business strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's vision.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends and be able to analyze complex data to inform strategic decisions.

A strong leader with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior management and external partners.

This position is responsible for maintaining relationships with regional teams and preparing reports for corporate forums.

  • Maintain a high level of cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate stakeholder engagement.

A successful Director of Business Innovation will drive profitable growth through effective governance and investment management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate strategic planning by analyzing market developments and providing strategic recommendations.
  2. Lead strategy execution by implementing a project management framework.
  3. Communicate strategic objectives across the organization.
  4. Maintain a deep understanding of local markets to inform strategic projects.
  5. Oversee performance tracking and drive accountability.
  6. Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams on client coverage and operational planning.
  7. Establish governance for investments and expense management.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 12 years in relevant experience, including at least 3 years in management consulting or strategy roles.

Skills: Proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent communication skills. Adaptability and cultural sensitivity. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in data visualization and report development.

Qualifications: Experience or exposure to the payments industry preferred.
