Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by delivering high-quality market intelligence and strategic insights.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze market trends, pricing, supply risks, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats. You will provide actionable and strategic insights to inform category strategy, market positioning, and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence databases.
  • Research emerging trends, technologies, and competitive developments.
  • Foster collaboration with leadership to shape the category roadmap and strategic plans.
  • Monitor supplier and buyer behaviors, demand forecasts, and performance data.
  • Support sourcing strategies with evidence-based recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
    • Knowledge of procurement and category management processes is an advantage.
    • Minimum 5 years total work experience in business analysis, procurement analytics, or market intelligence.
    • At least 2 years in a role providing strategic recommendations based on market and business data.
