Content Editor Role

Job Description:

As a Content Editor, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our content. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and prioritizing tasks to meet or exceed productivity standards.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to deliver high-quality results.
  • Copy-editing material to ensure it meets jurisdictional standards for accuracy and style.
  • Analyzing and markup material to prepare it for output.
  • Proof-reading material to verify copy-editing tasks and other mark-ups.
  • Submitting proofs for review and inputting final corrections as needed.
  • Creating Note enhancements that meet jurisdictional standards for accuracy, efficiency, and style.
  • Delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds internal standards.
  • Identifying patterns in errors through root cause analysis and speaking to quality/process issues across jurisdictions, products, and systems.
  • Adhering to production, tracking, and scheduling in existing systems and communication best practices.
  • Viewing projects and tasks considering production timelines, team/department priorities, and following-through on tasks in a timely manner.
  • Supporting team decisions, encouraging a team atmosphere, and assisting colleagues with production needs to contribute to overall work/life balance concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Becoming EDEN certified as product responsibilities determine and within stated timeframe.
  • Accessing and navigating LN platforms and media (Lexis Advance, Lexis+, eBook, CD, etc.).
