A security specialist is needed to protect networks and systems from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of network security concepts, including threat detection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.

Key responsibilities include administering firewall platforms, configuring and managing security infrastructure, developing security policies, and responding to technical assistance requests.

The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and Network Operating Systems, as well as experience with leading firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.

  • Administer firewall platforms, ensuring proper functioning, software updates, and patch management.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain firewall devices and related security infrastructure to safeguard the customer's network.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and firewall rules to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.

Requirements:

  • Requires significant experience with TCP/IP networking skills, including network troubleshooting and diagnosing common network problems.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of firewall technologies are essential for this role.
