Senior QA Automation Lead Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Lead to lead our quality assurance strategy across teams. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our web and software products.

  • Quality Assurance Strategy: Define and implement testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all projects.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Prioritize and execute both manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.
  • Automation Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions.
  • Monitor Test Results: Ensure issues are identified early and release cycles are efficient and reliable.
  • Review Test Results: Prepare leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain Automation Framework: Enhance the automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations to support continuous testing.
  • Mentor QA Engineers: Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the QA team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle and release workflows.
  • Quality Process Improvement: Proactively identify gaps in quality processes and lead initiatives for operational excellence and innovation in QA practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5+ years experience in both manual and automation testing and at least 1 year experience in leading a team.
  • Test Plan Development: Execute test plans and scenarios.
  • Automated Testing Skills: Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework.
  • Complex System Testing: Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms.
  • Source Control Management: Knowledge of source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
