Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

This is a remote role that enables fast and reliable deployments in a cloud-native environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning infrastructure design, automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and build scalable environments on AWS/Azure, implement automation with Infrastructure as Code, and ensure seamless deployments through CI/CD.
  • Collaboration: Partner with developers and SREs to deliver containerized applications in production, reduce manual work through automation, and improve system performance and resilience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in a cloud-native environment and solve infrastructure challenges at scale.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in AWS or Azure (infrastructure design, scaling, cost optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform or similar).
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab etc.).
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash or TypeScript) for automation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SigNoz) is a plus.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communicator with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Problem-solver with a passion for automation and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with incident management and on-call rotations.
Above and Beyond
  • Startup experience comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems or advanced networking.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert).
  • Contributions to open-source DevOps/infra projects.
