Cloud Engineering Role

The primary goal of this position is to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust cloud architectures to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automated pipelines using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and support containerized environments to enhance scalability and flexibility.
  • Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions and utilize CloudWatch and syslogs for analytics.
  • Automate tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to streamline deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  • Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.
  • Apply security best practices to protect infrastructure and data.
  • Strong troubleshooting and server resource management skills are required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cloud engineering and architecture.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud security and compliance.
  • Proficiency with observability tools and APM solutions.
  • Experience with IaC and automation tools.
  • IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting.
  • System administration skills: OS updates, patching, and configuration.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Node.js.
