Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to support clients with financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations and strategic finance team support in Australia.

This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations including preparing and lodging BAS, GST, PAYG and other tax requirements.

Additional responsibilities include producing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, performing reconciliations (bank, accounts payable/receivable), assisting with budgeting, forecasting and audits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian tax regulations and be CPA or CA qualified or working towards it.

A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field is required along with minimum 2–3 years' accounting experience in Australia.

Key skills include analytical mindset, attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Xero (must-have).
  • MYOB, QuickBooks, Incognition and NowAcess (preferred).
  • Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
  • Dext / Hubdoc for receipt and invoice management.
  • Payroll tools: KeyPay, Employment Hero or similar.
