Estimating Leadership Role

The Estimating Manager oversees the cost estimation function within our organization, leading interior and other related projects in Australia and New Zealand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of estimators, manage resources, mentor, and oversee performance.
  • Develop standardized estimating procedures and systems.
  • Oversee bidding processes for completeness, competitiveness, and accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and breakdowns, accounting for potential variations.
  • Communicate estimates to management, clients, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as an estimator with 2 years in a supervisory role. Proficiency in estimating software is essential, along with leadership and analytical skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills are also required.
