Job Title: Medical Transcription Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to assist our medical professionals during patient consultations. The successful candidate will have exceptional typing skills, strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend virtual or in-person patient consultations to transcribe interactions with eye care specialists
  • Input accurate and detailed notes into electronic health records (EHR) systems using Windows-based software while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Manage and maintain large volumes of medical files securely on a personal PC
  • Review and clarify inconsistencies in visual exam documentation and diagnostic data
  • Develop and maintain templates for various eye exams, surgical consultations, and follow-ups
  • Assist providers by streamlining administrative and documentation tasks
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ophthalmologic terminology and concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and OneNote
  • Able to navigate EHR platforms and systems
