Chief Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Preferably a graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or any related vocational/technical course
• With NC II or higher TESDA certification in Automotive Servicing, Diesel Mechanics, or Heavy Equipment Servicing is a plus
• With hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and heavy equipment used in telecommunication (e.g., backhoe, HDD machines, boom trucks, dump trucks)
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in field or project site environments
• Able to work at Project sites (Luzon & Visayas area)

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the maintenance team including mechanics and assistants
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager on vehicle performance and repair priorities
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
• Keep logs on work and issues
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
