Job Title: Collections Representative

Overview of the Role

This position involves interacting with customers to collect overdue accounts. It requires strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to establish realistic repayment plans or settlements.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers via phone and email to discuss balances and payment options.
  • Negotiate with customers to establish effective repayment plans or settlements.
  • Monitor and follow up on missed payments and broken promises to pay.
  • Update customer records, payment statuses, and notes in the system accurately and promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic under pressure
