Job Overview

As a Remote CAM Input/Detailer, you will be responsible for working with CAD systems like CAMduct and Epicor to enter assigned quotes and orders.

You will create CAM files from Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep and annotate drawings in Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep.

Accuracy and efficiency are crucial in this role, as you will be responsible for completing, accurate and on time processing of assigned work.

Responsibilities
  • Enter assigned quotes and orders into CAD systems.
  • Create CAM files from Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep.
  • Annotate drawings in Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep.
  • Complete, accurate and on time processing of assigned work.
  • Ensure duct construction methods meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify incomplete information and verify with customer.
  • Communicate with customers through phone, email, and support desk software.
  • Communicate with internal team.
  • Maintain status of tickets in Freshdesk.
Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in BIM or VDC with an emphasis in HVAC or Mechanical is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products (ESTmep, CADmep, CAMduct) is preferred.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner and awareness when to engage supervisor if necessary.
  • Work collaboratively and demonstrate commitment to get the job done.
  • Self-motivate to do what needs to be done.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent product knowledge.
