Cybersecurity Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security architecture frameworks, risk management standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Design secure network, application, and cloud architectures in collaboration with infrastructure and development teams.
  • Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews for critical banking applications and systems.

Governance, Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure all security designs comply with BSP regulations (e.g., Circular 982, 1019, 1140), as well as global standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
  • Work closely with the IT Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to support assessments and audits.

Security Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Drive the development of the bank's cybersecurity architecture roadmap and contribute to the overall cybersecurity strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security technologies, tools, and practices to strengthen the bank's security posture.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a key advisor to IT leadership, project managers, and business units on cybersecurity and architecture-related matters.
  • Engage with vendors and third-party providers to ensure adherence to security controls and data protection requirements.

Incident Management & Response:

  • Provide expert guidance during security incidents, especially those involving architectural or design flaws.
  • Review lessons learned from incidents and update architectural policies and controls accordingly.
