Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting professional to play a crucial role in delivering compliant, timely, and accurate financial services. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach, working closely with the Head of Accounting to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality financial, tax, and accounting work is completed.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and expand client base through exceptional service delivery, resulting in increased revenue and client satisfaction
- Buil long-term relationships with clients by providing proactive and tailored solutions to their accounting needs
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, and partnerships
- Handle calculations, preparation, and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and FBT returns for companies
- Offer expert advice on technical matters and provide a full suite of accounting services to clients
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, including those with rental properties, capital gains, PSI, and sole traders
- Prepare and submit Super Guarantee Charge Statements and TPAR reports
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports
- Continuously improve and update internal procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting firm
- Proficient in key accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously
- Working knowledge of tax agent portals, including the ATO Tax Agent Portal
