
Chief Pharmacy Professional

This role entails overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring profitability, professional services, and regulatory compliance. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service and adhering to Good Pharmacy Practice. Acting as Pharmacist-In-Charge, you will serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory matters and play a crucial role in training and developing Pharmacy Assistants/Associates to ensure consistent and compliant pharmacy operations.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor and review sales performance in health categories, proposing action plans to meet sales budget and improve pharmacy profitability.
- Ensure consistency in executing Brand of Service Standards when interacting with customers (internal or external) and adhere to all regulatory requirements, acting as pharmacist-in-charge/point of contact for regulatory matters.
- Pursue necessary functions for all digitally enabled services.
- Support immediate head in managing ROS compliance (inventory & till) to minimize shrinkage below tolerance levels.
- Collaborate with immediate head in monitoring and tracking controllable expenses, recommending cost efficiency measures to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Maintain adherence to health protocols and implement crisis management plans to provide a safe and clean store environment for employees and customers.
- Nurture relationships as liaison to lessors for better communication and coordination needed to support the business.
- Sustain team engagement and performance through coaching, counseling, motivating, and disciplining employees.
- Demonstrate analytical skills, monitor, and evaluate implementation of online and offline initiatives, propose solutions, and track progress to enhance sales and profitability.
- Manage and monitor brand of service, handle, and resolve online & offline customer feedback with a sense of urgency, knowing how to escalate complex customer complaints.
- Practice ethical and legal standards of the profession.
- Analyze store profitability and implement cost optimization measures to maximize productivity.
- Validate gaps, monitor compliance, and coach on retail operating standards to work towards improving efficiency.
- Benchmark retail practices and build relationships with mall partners, affiliates, and professional organizations/partner schools.
- Delegate tasks, train, and coach selling techniques/functional skills and engage teams to maximize productivity and sustain motivation.
