As a specialist in data validation, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our data assets. This role requires a high level of expertise in designing and implementing validation frameworks to detect and prevent data inconsistencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust data validation frameworks to ensure data consistency and integrity
  • Develop automated testing scripts to validate data against expected standards, using tools such as Azure Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake) and Great Expectations/dbt tests
  • Triage and resolve data-related issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and impact on operations
  • Monitor and alert stakeholders to potential data quality issues, providing actionable insights for improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and standards for data validation processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in data-quality or validation work, including at least one Azure lakehouse or migration project, with a strong focus on data analytics and business intelligence
  • Proficiency in Azure Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake), Azure Data Factory, and Great Expectations/dbt tests, with advanced SQL skills and Python for data testing and automation
  • Experience with Power BI (or Tableau) to publish high-quality dashboards, driving business decisions with data-driven insights
  • Deep understanding of data-quality dimensions and root-cause analysis, with CI/CD pipelines for data tests and continuous improvement
