Senior Atlassian Administrator Position

We are seeking a proactive, collaborative and self-motivated administrator to join our team at Manila Recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of proven experience in Jira/Atlassian administration, with a solid grasp of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITSM (ITIL, SLAs, queues).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrating Atlassian tools: user management; routine maintenance, upgrades, and backups.
  • Designing and optimizing workflows, fields, screens, and automation rules to reduce manual effort.
  • Configuring projects, boards, dashboards, filters, and actionable reports.
  • Tracking licenses, reconciling invoices, right-sizing tiers, and recommending savings on apps and subscriptions.
  • Evaluating, implementing, and maintaining Marketplace apps; integrating Jira with CI/CD, chat, and other business tools.
  • Providing second-line support, running training sessions, and maintaining clear documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Ensuring security and compliance, documenting configurations, and championing ongoing process improvements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ Proven Jira/Atlassian administration experience (cloud).
  • Solid grasp of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITSM (ITIL, SLAs, queues).
  • Experience managing SaaS licenses, budgets, or cost-control initiatives.
  • Scripting/automation skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication; comfortable training non-technical users.
  • Reliable home office setup and stable internet connection.

Advantageous Skills:

  • Atlassian certification(s) in Jira Software / Jira Service Management or willingness to obtain quickly.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Part-time offshore contractor employment from an Australian headquartered company. You will settle your own taxes.
