Senior Financial Planning Analyst

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial planning and analytical excellence. Our payment processing platform requires a robust financial reporting infrastructure to support its growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, refine, and optimize divisional and corporate budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Create regular and ad-hoc reports, analysis, and recommendations for finance, accounting, and management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to design and implement financial models and analyses that drive business insights and opportunities.
  • Work closely with our data team to integrate operational and financial data, enhancing forecasting accuracy and supporting informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of financial reporting experience, with business analysis skills considered an asset.
  • Proven expertise in financial statement production and/or analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting data hierarchies and structure.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to understand financial implications of key business decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills in written, spoken, and visualization mediums.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software and tools.
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and industry trends.
