About the Role:

  • Provide expertise in the Workday HCM product suite, with deep knowledge and experience in U.S. benefits
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
  • Collaborate with the data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model, coaching others on product knowledge
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, collaborating effectively and synergistically to achieve team-based projects
  • Support team members in addressing complex tasks/requirements when needed
  • Facilitate clients' adoption of Workday best practices
  • Maintain ongoing client satisfaction, ensuring the company is referenceable and referable once in production
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers, keeping them informed of overall project status
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications
  • E nsure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems)
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking, identifying problem components, analyzing patterns, removing inefficient configurations or processes, and constructing algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous education amongst colleagues, mentees, and managers - serve as a professional role model
  • Deliver insightful status reports to project managers highlighting risks to project health and improvements in client adoption
