Job Title:

A Fund Servicing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making processes and ensuring exceptional reporting and client management standards.

They support the bank's institutional asset owner and asset manager clients with technologies providing insights into investment outcomes throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in the investment lifecycle, including industry best practices, regulatory requirements, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends in performance and risk analytics across client segments.
  • Comprehensive performance analyses of investment portfolios, including attribution analysis, exposures, and rates of return against objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting for clients, ensuring data integrity and resolving basic workflow exceptions.
  • Analyze and interpret workflow exceptions, guide third parties on remediation efforts, and take ownership of plan execution. Present findings in clear communications.
  • Lead inquiry response efforts with external stakeholders, including portfolio managers, back-office operations, and vendors. Establish priorities and articulate dependencies as well as delivery/resolution timetables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in performance analysis, risk analytics, or investment analytics within the financial services industry.
  • Basic understanding of institutional fund accounting and familiarity with investment lifecycle processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Pursuit of Master's degree or relevant professional designations (such as CFA, CIPM, CAIA, FRM) preferred.
  • Knowledge/use of FactSet and/or competitor platforms preferred.
