Marketing Supervisor Job Description

This Marketing Supervisor role is a crucial part of our product marketing team, responsible for guiding the development and success of new products and promotions that drive company growth.

  • Job Description:

    The Marketing Supervisor plays a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product development processes. This involves ensuring product viability aligned with market trends, tracking product key performance indicators (KPIs), and aligning product and promotions with business goals.

  • Responsibilities:
    1. Market Research & Analysis:

      We conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, pain points, and competitive landscapes to recommend ideal product strategies and positioning.

      Additionally, we analyze customer and distributor feedback on current and upcoming products to identify opportunities.

      Our team tracks product KPIs and prepares reports on product performance and market trends.

    2. Business Performance Tracking:

      We track product KPIs and prepare reports on product and promotion results.

      Analysis of company results and financial performance through product and promotion performance is also carried out.

    3. Sku Management:

      We champion the SKU creation and maintenance procedure for new and existing products within our Business Suite.

      We prepare groundwork and approvals on all necessary documentations related to SKU setup, including coordination with Finance and Regulatory.

    4. Product & Promo Development & Launch:

      We oversee the entire product & promo life cycle from ideation to development to launch.

      Work closely with Regional Product Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Business Methods team to bring the product & promotions to life.

      Ensure key milestones are met timely in the new product development process and new promo process.

      Ensure launch of new products & promotions in agreed timelines.

    5. Stakeholder Communication:

      We work with the supply chain team on product & promo related concerns and provide regular updates on product progress and product & promo supply risk and outcomes.

    6. Website Content Management:

      Along with Brand Marketing, we conceptualize and develop content pages using information from resource center and uploading of content.

      Publish company & member announcements on Herbalife internal and external web pages.

      Creation of product SKU, product requirements and data, configuration into online catalog tree and resource library maintenance.

    7. Vendor Management:

      We source suppliers and initial meetings for development of promotions.

      Secure and file accreditation documents.

      Coordinate and manage the vendor from pre-promo planning until launch.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product marketing or related field.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
