Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our international team. This role blends general accounting duties with a strong focus on managing accounts receivable.

You'll be working closely with our client, an Australian music business, using Xero to maintain accurate financial records, handle client communications, and support the overall financial strategy.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general bookkeeping, including data entry and bank reconciliation. They will also assist with financial reporting and basic analysis, handle accounts payables and support tax compliance documentation, ensure timely and accurate transaction processing, and collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams.

Core Expertise:

  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable process (invoicing to reconciliation)
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain AR ledgers
  • Follow up with clients professionally on overdue invoices
  • Handle client queries regarding payments and terms
  • Implement effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards
  • Generate AR reports and suggest improvements to AR workflows
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have around five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, a strong background in accounts receivable processes, proficiency in Xero, excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills, ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams, and strong English skills (verbal and written).
