Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will provide mental health support to employees working in content moderation roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-on-one check-in sessions and counseling sessions addressing psychological health using short-term resilience strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), mindfulness-based therapies (MBT), and psychoeducation.
  • Deliver group and peer support sessions aimed at building resilience, developing healthy coping strategies, and building positive working relationships.
  • Work with site coordinators and other regional leads to drive mental health and wellbeing activities with a focus on enhancing employee resiliency and minimizing psychological risks in the content moderation space.
  • Assess cases for trauma related to exposure to graphic content, follow escalation protocols, and triage employees to appropriate support pathways.
  • Manage confidential case records and reports safely and in line with privacy protocols.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in psychology, psychotherapy, counseling, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience delivering individual and group coaching sessions across the mental health spectrum with a focus on workplace-related mental health issues is required.
  • Clinical experience and background in cross-cultural counseling demonstrating sensitivity and competence with diverse backgrounds is essential.
  • The ability to build trust and rapport with employees, managers, and team members is critical.
  • Experience working in trust and safety or a content moderation environment is desirable.
