Paraplanner Position
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in supporting the creation and implementation of financial plans for clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and be proficient in preparing comprehensive financial plans. If you have a passion for working with numbers and delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist advisors in creating detailed financial plans for clients.
- Conduct thorough research on insurance products, financial concepts, superannuation, and tax strategies.
- Prepare and analyze financial needs analysis reports to support the development of financial plans.
- Collaborate with advisors to identify suitable investment strategies based on client needs and goals.
- Attend client meetings with advisors to present and review financial plans.
- Work closely with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents.
- Understand and interpret complex legal documents related to insurance products.
- Effectively manage and update client information in our database system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role in the financial services industry.
- Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to work accurately with numbers.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office, with the ability to work efficiently with various software applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in calculations and materials prepared.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate self-motivation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
