Strategic Investment Analyst

The Strategic Investment Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the investment and finance teams with various tasks such as financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and pipeline management.

This position requires effective collaboration with the executive team, property sellers, brokers, and service providers. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable working in a team environment with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments.
  2. Review offering memoranda and seller-provided materials such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows to ensure accuracy.
  3. Perform comprehensive market research and analysis for investment decision support.
  4. Prepare high-quality presentation decks that effectively communicate complex data.
  5. Assist in property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordination with third parties.
  6. Perform market-level due diligence, including sale and lease comparables and investment trends to inform strategic decisions.
  7. Organize and maintain the acquisition pipeline to optimize investment opportunities.
  8. Provide administrative support to the investment and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting is preferred.
  2. MBA degree is highly valued.
  3. 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions is required.
  4. Experience with top consulting firms or financial institutions is highly desirable.
  5. Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities is essential.
  6. Advanced Excel modeling skills are mandatory.
  7. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
