About This Role

This position plays a key part in our Compliance function, working alongside specialists from diverse teams. You will develop expertise in identifying non-compliant messaging and spotting bad actors attempting to send fraudulent content.

As a senior member of the Compliance team, your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and approving live message content to detect potential fraud, spam, and phishing attempts.
  • Identifying, reporting, and taking necessary action against suspicious activity, including blocking accounts.
  • Assisting in creating and updating business processes as a senior representative of the Compliance function, serving as a key contact within the team.
  • Staying up-to-date on regulatory updates and compliance standards, sharing best practices across the Support and Compliance teams.
  • Onboarding, mentoring, and overseeing junior Compliance Specialists, ensuring they meet expectations and are set up for success.
  • Developing, documenting, and updating internal knowledge articles, training materials, and customer-facing content related to Compliance and Monitoring.
  • Educating customers on content guidelines and responsible messaging, collaborating with Support, Account Managers, and Sales teams.
  • Acting as an escalation point and Subject Matter Expert for compliance-related issues raised by customers, support, or sales teams.
  • Analyzing performance and implementing process improvements to enhance team efficiency and message handling.
